School starts to plan delivery of the programme
1: Cascade information to colleagues in school
2: Create delivery action plans and agree:
· How you are going to run the awards
· How the characters will be nominated e.g. will each class decide on one character nomination? Will there be a free nomination by individuals throughout the school?
· Will you pre-select books for each class to choose from or invite children to suggest ideas for books/characters?
· How you will plan the empathy assembly
· How you will get the books you need
· Ensure your school library staff are involved
Consider working with local schools’ library services and public libraries
