“Being part of the Empathy Day Festival is truly heart warming—it reminds us that we’re all working together to build a more compassionate society”

Look back on the Empathy Day Festival 2025

From 2-12 June 2025, culminating in Empathy Day itself on 12 June. This extended national campaign shared a flexible framework for widespread community participation, inspiring children to learn about empathy, put it into action and develop key empathy skills.

The festival featured nine Empathy Challenge activities, including brand new challenges for 2025, a nationwide assembly with Children’s Laureate, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, brilliant authors and illustrators to spark empathy inspiration, CPD webinars and more!

‘The Empathy Day Festival helps us build a school where every child feels seen, valued, and understood’
